Item cards
Item cards are a way of equipping your creatures with new powers. They may even become a basis for your strategy and certainly will affect your tactics within a game more often than not. You can learn all about the items in the Rules section. Basic rule is that a creature can equip one item unless it has the Unique keyword, in which case it can carry two. The item card has all the information on it about who can equip it and how much it costs against your warband limit. Note that items were completely revamped in July 2024, when the New Generation Items (beta) set was released. The new versions are the only legal items in DDM V3, easily recognised from the blue hue and three stars in the name field.
